Sheikha Hayat bint Abdulaziz Al Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Table Tennis Federation and Vice President of the Asian Table Tennis Federation, received a delegation from the Bahrain Sports Club headed by Dr. Abdul Rahman Al Khashram within the framework of joint coordination and cooperation for the club to host the West Asian Championship next December, in the presence of Ali Abdul Ali Al Madih, Vice President of the Bahrain Table Tennis Federation, and Mr. Salman Yousef, Board Member and Chairman of the Competitions Committee.
During the meeting, the Bahrain Club delegation reviewed the latest ongoing preparations to host the tournament with regard to receiving participating delegations, accommodation for members of the technical committee, AFC representatives and referees, transportation affairs, facilities, television broadcasting, and preparing the Al-Ittihad Hall, which will host all the tournament matches.
Sheikha Hayat confirmed that the Bahraini Table Tennis Federation will provide all forms of support to ensure the success of the tournament at all organizational and technical levels. She also praised the efforts made by the Bahrain Club, headed by Brother Dr. Abdul Rahman Al Khashram and members of the Board of Directors, noting the efforts of the tournament director, Brother Ibrahim Siyadi, stressing that the level of preparedness reflects the hard work and diligent follow-up by the club, which will contribute to presenting an ideal version, God willing, from an organizational standpoint.
For his part, Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Khasram expressed his pride in the unlimited support provided by the Bahrain Table Tennis Federation for the success of hosting the tournament, looking forward to achieving a new achievement that strengthens Bahrain’s presence on the regional and continental scene in the sport of table tennis.
