Sharjah: Mahmoud Al-Koumi In the hustle and harshness of life, a mother was silently struggling to give her three children a decent life despite her limited means, after she separated from her husband and became alone responsible for a small family that knew nothing of the world except her mother’s caring heart. She lived on a monthly expense that did not exceed 3,500 dirhams, barely enough to cover the rent, food, and expenses of the children who were still in their young stages of life. The mother’s suffering worsened after she was cut off from support. Her ex-husband had another family and was no longer able to help, and she found herself facing obligations that increased day after day, until the Sharjah Charitable Society, to which her story reached a list of humanitarian cases, intervened, and a study was conducted.
