The 2025 House of Representatives electoral process witnessed a festive atmosphere over the two days, embodied in the increasing turnout of citizens to cast their votes.
Major General Dr. Ismail Kamal, Governor of Aswan, was keen to follow up on the closing of ballot boxes in all committees, with a total of 190 committees located in 189 electoral centers and 4 electoral districts, which received 1,122,806 voters.
An increasing turnout of voters to cast their votes
The Governor of Aswan pointed out that voters were given full opportunity in some committees that witnessed an increased turnout during the evening period to cast their votes, and this continued after the official closing times of nine in the evening.
During his follow-up in the presence of Engineer Amr Lashin, Deputy Governor, and the relevant leaders, Dr. Ismail Kamal, Governor of Aswan, confirmed that the boxes were fully secured and closed by the competent agencies, and they were delivered to the sorting committees amid follow-up from the Cabinet Operations Center, as well as the Ministry of Local Development.
The Governor of Aswan pointed out that the electoral process witnessed the harnessing of all capabilities from the executive branch, and the provision of full logistical and administrative support in cooperation and solidarity among all concerned agencies, which contributed to the success of this democratic wedding, this constitutional entitlement, and its emergence in a manner befitting this ancient governorate.
