He remained loyal, loyal, and present at all security activities and events, even after his retirement, so that Major General, retired, Ahmed Abdel Rahman Mohamed Bu Ali, remains a distinguished security stature.
The deceased, who passed away at the age of 91, began his career in the Bahrain Police on October 9, 1955, where he graduated from the Officers Training School with the rank of lieutenant. During his period of service, he held several positions in more than one security position, including the Driving School, the General Department of Criminal Investigations and Investigations, the Airport Security Department, the Muharraq Region Security Department, the General Command, and the Director General of the General Department of Operations.
He also attended many security and administrative training courses inside and outside the country, and rose through the military ranks, until he obtained the rank of Major General on December 1, 2001 until he retired on February 1, 2002.
He received many medals and decorations, including the Security Medal for Long Service for 25 years, the Security Medal for Excellent Service, first class, the Sheikh Isa Era Medal, first class, the Security Medal for Service Appreciation, first class, the Military Service Appreciation Medal, first class, the Bahrain Medal, second class, and the Sheikh Isa Medal, second class.
This honor did not come out of nowhere, but rather came in appreciation and pride in his dedication, sincerity and professional discipline, especially since he began his police career as a trainer to prepare officers and instil a culture of discipline in them, which would enhance security readiness and prepare a security man who is aware of his responsibilities and tasks, the first of which is preserving the nation’s security and stability.
For his part, retired Lieutenant General Sheikh Daij bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, former Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, confirmed that the deceased was one of the first officers to work in Public Security. He met him when he first joined the police force, and worked with him in the Muharraq Police Directorate and General Command. He was one of those with security experience, and many officers and individuals benefited and learned from him.
He added that he learned from him about investigation and management, and he cared a lot about his work and was a role model for the commanding officer. He was serious, committed, and loyal to his work. The deceased was also able to reach advanced positions in the Ministry of Interior.
For his part, retired Major General Abdullah Muhammad Al-Musallam confirmed that everyone attested to the deceased’s good morals and good behavior, and that, may God have mercy on him, he contributed to many notable successes and achievements in security work in the Kingdom, adding that he was committed to the work system and its principles and set an example of sincerity and dedication.
He explained that he spent years working with him, knew him closely and in many security positions, and found in him a committed officer who was dedicated to his work.
In a related context, retired Major General Naji Al-Hashel mourned the deceased, expressing sincere condolences to his family and loved ones, praying to God Almighty to cover him with His mercy and satisfaction, noting that he was one of the loyal security men who sacrificed their time and effort in order to establish security.
He explained that retired Major General Ahmed Abdel Rahman Bu Ali was one of the best officers of the Ministry of Interior. He was characterized by good manners and high discipline. He was a cooperative officer who was keen to perform his work to the fullest extent. He was diligent and disciplined and achieved many security successes.
In a related context, Major General Abdul Salam Yousef Al-Arifi, Assistant Chief of Public Security for Community Affairs, confirmed that he was honored to work with the deceased at the beginning of his security work, as he was of good character and one of the best officers. He was a true example of discipline, commitment, and keenness to strictly implement discipline and order. He worked to develop police work, and he was interested in guiding his new colleagues and teaching them the basics of work.
Major General Al-Arifi said, “I learned from him how to lead by example, and how to exercise firmness with respect. He carries out his security work to the fullest extent by adhering to the laws and implementing them in order to maintain security… May God have mercy on our dear deceased, for we have lost a loyal officer, and we ask God to reward him with the best reward and inspire his family and relatives patience and solace.”
For his part, Major General Fawaz Hassan Al-Hassan, Commander of the Royal Academy of Police, confirmed that the deceased was an example of a decent man and had a fragrant biography, as witnessed by everyone who knew him or dealt with him. He was close to the hearts and always had high character and remarkable humility, and provided those around him with a good spirit that was reflected on everyone.
He explained that he left a beautiful and unforgettable impact, and an imprint that time cannot erase. He combined good treatment with a good reputation that preceded him wherever he went, and because good influences are only made by those with pure hearts, his memory remains present among us, and we recall him with all respect, love, and prayers.
He added that he spent his life in the service of the Bahrain Police, providing a role model for loyalty and dedication to serving the nation and citizens, pointing out that the positions he held were a deserved appreciation for his efforts and patriotic contribution that spanned many years, as he worked to develop police work, and made serving Bahrain and its people his first concern, preserving the security and stability of the nation.
Major General Fawaz Al-Hassan pointed out that the deceased left an unforgettable mark in the hearts of everyone who knew him and worked with him. He was an example of giving and sacrifice, respected and appreciated by everyone, because of the human values he carried and the comprehensive vision he possessed in serving society. He asked God to place what he offered in the balance of his good deeds, and to make him dwell in spacious Paradise, and to immortalize his good memory in the hearts of his family, lovers, neighbors, and all who knew him.
For his part, Major General Ahmed Hagras, Assistant General Coordinator for the Governorates, confirmed that Major General Ahmed Abdul Rahman Bu Ali, retired, was one of the leaders in the field of police work, and one of the police officers and leaders who had a clear imprint and great influence in establishing and developing the field and administrative work at the Ministry of Interior throughout his period of service, which extended for more than 45 years, during which he held many leadership positions, whether field or administrative.
He continued: I worked under his command as an officer supervising some security patrols. My colleague, Major General Abdul Salam Al-Arifi, and I, Assistant Chief of Public Security for Community Affairs, were at the beginning of our work and at the rank of (Lieutenant). After a period of working in patrols, I moved to work with him in his office as an administrative officer. He was then Assistant Director General of Public Security for Administrative and Financial Affairs, and I continued to work with him until he retired in 2002.
He said, “Throughout the period of working with the deceased, I learned a lot from him. He was a leader in the truest sense of the word, strong in personality and presence, firm in his positions and decisions, proficient in performing his work and making decisions due to the accumulated experiences he had, and very distinguished in writing in both Arabic and English. For me, he was the best leader and teacher.”
Major General Hagras added that his relationship with the deceased continued even after his retirement by communicating with him by phone from time to time to ask about him, as well as visiting him in his council during a period of his life, where he was not only a leader or official for me at work, but rather like a father who deserves to be remembered and communicated with. May God have mercy on retired Major General Ahmed Abdel Rahman Bu Ali and may he rest in peace.
For his part, Brigadier Sultan Al Kaabi, Director General of the Muharraq Governorate Police Directorate, pointed out that the deceased was one of the loyal men of the Ministry of Interior and who spent his years serving the nation with sincerity, discipline and honesty. He left his mark during his period of work in the Muharraq Police Directorate and was an example of dedication and good morals.
He explained that the deceased was diligent in his security work, respected everyone and helped them, and we learned a lot from him, as he was a loyal officer and keen in his work to adhere to the law. This qualified him to hold many positions, and he, may God have mercy on him, was in constant contact with the officers and set an example of sincerity, dedication, and hard work. He was loyal, honest, and meticulous, and contributed to the development of many security work programs and procedures.
In the same context, retired Colonel Ambassador Abdullah bin Faisal Al-Dosari indicated that he had the honor of working at the beginning of his work in the Ministry of Interior with the deceased, and he felt in him the efficiency, good work, high discipline, and ability he displayed in assuming responsibilities and facing challenges and difficulties in the various sectors of police work.
He added that he was a first-class security man from whom we inspired the rules and skills of work, discipline and loyalty in serving the nation, and he left a good imprint that will remain in the memory of history.
Retired Colonel, Ambassador Abdullah bin Faisal Al-Dossari, expressed his appreciation for all the sincere and tireless work the deceased provided for the sake of maintaining security and public order in our dear country throughout his illustrious period of work.
For his part, retired Colonel Jassim Muhammad extended his deepest and sincere condolences to the family of the deceased, praying to the Almighty Lord to cover him with His vast mercy and satisfaction, to dwell him in spacious gardens, and to inspire his family and relatives patience and solace.
He explained that the deceased was an experienced and knowledgeable officer, and everyone who worked with him, whether officers or individuals, benefited from him, adding that he was of high moral character and had a prominent security personality. He was very keen on performing his security work and left prominent security fingerprints. He had many experiences and was a person of opinion and advice, devoting most of his time and attention to carrying out his work to implement the law and maintain security.
