The Committee for Preparing the Draft Response to the Royal Speech in the House of Representatives held its second meeting, headed by Representative Ahmed Sabah Al-Saloum, and in the presence of the representatives who are members of the committee.
The committee began its meeting by reviewing the text of the High Royal Speech, the texts of previous High Royal speeches, and previous responses to them.
The Chairman of the Committee indicated that the work mechanism and legal rules regulating the work of the Committee, its methodology and time frame were reviewed. The Committee also reviewed the analytical presentation of the contents of the Royal Speech of His Majesty the King at the opening of the fourth regular annual session of the sixth legislative term of the Shura and Representatives Councils, which included a summary of the speech and an analysis of the axes and contents of the Royal Speech.
After that, the committee examined the views received from the representatives to include them in the draft response and submit it, based on the contents and themes of the lofty speech addressed by the country’s great king.
It is worth noting that the committee includes MPs: Ahmed Sabah Al-Salloum (Chairman), Maryam Hassan Al-Sayegh (Vice-Chairman), Hassan Eid Bu Khamas, Najeeb Hamad Al-Kuwari, Khaled Saleh Bouanaq, Hisham Abdul-Aziz Al-Awadi, Mamdouh Abbas Al-Saleh, Abdullah Hassan Al-Dhaen, and Abdul-Wahed Abdul-Aziz Qarata.
