This Wednesday morning, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi will receive his counterpart, President of the Kyrgyz Republic, President Sadyr Japarov, during his visit to Cairo.

Ambassador Mohamed El-Shenawy, the official spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic, said that the visit of President Sadyr Japarov, President of the Kyrgyz Republic, to Egypt, is the first official visit by a Kyrgyz president to Cairo.

Two days ago, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received today Her Majesty Queen Marie, Queen of the Kingdom of Denmark, in the presence of Dr. Badr Abdel Aty, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Egyptians Abroad Affairs, and on the Danish side, Mr. Lars Løke Rasmussen, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Ambassador Lars Baumüller, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Denmark in Cairo.
The official spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic stated that Mr. President welcomed Her Majesty the Queen, expressing his appreciation for her participation in the opening ceremony of the Grand Egyptian Museum, which reflects the depth of the historical and distinguished relations between Egypt and Denmark. For her part, Her Majesty the Queen conveyed the greetings of the King of Denmark to Mr. President, and expressed her great pride in her visit to Egypt and her participation in this prominent cultural event, praising the greatness of Egyptian civilization and the unique contribution the museum represents in enriching human heritage.
Ambassador Mohamed El-Shenawy, the official spokesman, explained that the meeting discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries, especially in light of the state visit conducted by Mr. President to Denmark in December 2024, which witnessed the announcement of upgrading the level of relations to a strategic partnership. Mr. President stressed the importance of building on the results of that visit to expand the scope of joint cooperation, especially in the trade and investment fields, in a way that meets the aspirations of the two peoples towards development and prosperity.
The meeting also touched on a number of regional issues of common interest, as Her Majesty the Queen expressed her appreciation for the leadership role played by Egypt in reaching an agreement to stop the war in the Gaza Strip, praising Egypt’s initiative to hold a conference to reconstruct the Strip during this November. As Denmark, the current president of the Council of the European Union, she stressed her pride in the advanced level reached by relations between Egypt and the Union, pointing to the vital role that Danish companies play in Egypt, and her aspiration to strengthen Danish investments in the Egyptian market.
The official spokesman added that the meeting also discussed developments in the situation in Sudan, where it was emphasized the need to intensify efforts to stop the war, reduce the crimes committed in its context, and provide humanitarian aid, in preparation for reaching a comprehensive political settlement that guarantees the stability of brotherly Sudan.
