Details of Pope Tawadros’ celebration
This came during his meeting with them the day before yesterday, where the Coptic Orthodox Church explained on its page, today, Thursday, that Pope Tawadros said: The bag contains medicines because your health is precious to us. These capsules are taken once a day after eating, and it is preferable to take them at 12 noon.
The Pope indicated in his speech that the gift came on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of his graduation, noting the participation of a number of his college colleagues in providing a group of nutritional supplements that help raise immunity at the beginning of the winter season.
He explained that the medicines contain vitamin C, which helps treat colds, in addition to bee food supplements, which are among the most important beneficial elements and nutritional supplements. He warned against giving medicines to children because they are not suitable for them, but they are useful for priests, their wives, and their young children.
It is noteworthy that Pope Tawadros II graduated from the Faculty of Pharmacy at Alexandria University in 1975, before heading to monastic life in 1988, and was elected Patriarch of the See of Mark in 2012.
