An elite group of talented female students excelled in poetic recitation during their participation in the “Your Voice is a Poem” competition in its third session, at Al-Ahed Al-Zahir Secondary School for Girls, as part of activities that enhance Arabic language skills in government schools, under the supervision and support of the Ministry of Education.
The results of the competition resulted in the student Maryam Saleh Mahdi from Hamad Town Secondary School for Girls winning first place, the student Ayat Ali Issa from Al Ahed Al Zaher Secondary School for Girls winning second place, and the student Marwa Nazir Ahmed from West Riffa Secondary School for Girls winning third place.
The supervisor of the organization, the Arabic language teacher, Ms. Zainab Jameel Ahmed, said that the competition had adopted the method of selecting poems by lottery, and giving the participating students 10 minutes to practice before reciting them in front of the jury and the audience, which added a sense of excitement and creative competition.
