The team, Dr. Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Health, inaugurated the Critical and Emergency Care and Advanced Nursing Conference, which is organized by government hospitals at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, in cooperation with BDA and with the participation of an elite group of specialists in the fields of nursing and health care from inside and outside the Kingdom.
The conference, which lasts for two days, aims to shed light on the latest scientific developments and innovative practices in the fields of critical care, emergency and advanced nursing, in a way that enhances the exchange of experiences between medical and nursing staff and contributes to developing the level of health services provided in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
In this context, the President of the Supreme Council of Health stressed that the conference represents an important scientific platform that brings together specialists in vital fields closely related to the quality of health services provided to patients, praising the efforts of nursing staff in government hospitals and their pivotal role in the health care system, especially in intensive care and emergency departments.
He explained that developing the skills of nursing cadres in the fields of critical and emergency care constitutes a fundamental pillar in improving the quality of health services, and reflects the Kingdom of Bahrain’s commitment to applying the best medical practices in accordance with international standards, which contributes to the continuous improvement of the quality of health services provided to patients.
For her part, Professor Hanadi Ibrahim Aish, Head of Nursing Services for Centers of Excellence in Government Hospitals, indicated that the conference aims to enhance the exchange of knowledge between nursing staff and raise their efficiency in dealing with critical and emergency cases.
She added that the conference program includes a series of specialized lectures and workshops presented by a group of local and international experts, in addition to discussing the latest innovations in critical care technologies and rapid response methods, which contributes to supporting efforts to continuously develop nursing services in government hospitals.
