Novelist Mustafa Nasr died days after suffering a health crisis

The writer and novelist Mustafa Nasr has passed away today, days after he fell ill and was admitted to the hospital.

The novelist Mustafa Nasr is an Egyptian writer of Sohagian origins, from the Juhayna Center in Upper Egypt, a member of the Egyptian Writers Union, a member of the Story Club in Cairo, and a member of the Arts, Literature and Social Sciences Authority in Alexandria.

Nasr had practiced dramatic writing for Alexandria Radio for years, and published stories and scenarios for children in many magazines such as: “Al-Arabi Al-Saghir,” “Bara’ Al-Iman,” “Aladdin,” “Qatar Al-Nada,” and “Majid,” and he published many literary creations that varied between short stories and novels.

Among his most prominent writings are: What the Sea Did Not Say, The Jews of Alexandria, Climbing over a Smooth Wall, Partners, Jabal Na`sa, Al-Juhaini, Al-Hamamil, Al-Bir Street, Al-Nagaawiyah, Al-Sittat, Alexandria Nights, Gharbal Nights, Thirst Nights, Souq Aqdaiya, Coffee on the Sidewalk, Aldorado Cinema, Alexandria 67, and others.
