During the first 9 months of this year, the financial statements of the Egyptian Satellite Company (Nilesat EGSA.CA) revealed that the company’s profits increased by 19%, on an annual basis.
Nilesat achieves profits of $48.3 million in 9 months, an increase of 19%
The company explained in a statement to the Egyptian Stock Exchange today that it achieved profits amounting to $48.33 million during the period from January to the end of September 2025, compared to profits amounting to $40.66 million in the comparative period of 2024.
Activity revenues decreased during the first nine months of this year to $73.46 million, compared to $75.95 million during the same period last year.
The company achieved differences from currency revaluation during the observed period amounting to $1.93 million, and the return on investment in securities – bonds and treasury bills – amounted to about $13.56 million.

Nilesat achieved profits amounting to $57.68 million during the year 2024, compared to $43.75 million in 2023, while annual revenues were relatively stable at $101.14 million, compared to $101.82 million in the previous year.

The Egyptian Satellite Company (Nilesat) is one of the leading Egyptian companies in the field of satellite broadcasting. It was established as an Egyptian joint stock company in accordance with the provisions of Investment Law No. 230 of 1989, in accordance with Minister of Economy and Foreign Trade Resolution No. 456 of 1996 issued on June 27, 1996, and published in the Investment Newspaper, issue No. 221, dated August 27 of the same year.
The company obtained Commercial Registration No. 682 issued by the General Administration of Commercial Registry – Cairo Investment Commercial Registry Office. The company’s term is 25 years, starting from July 1, 2021 and ending on June 30, 2046.
The company was also licensed to practice its activity in the free zone system in the Media Free Zone in 6th of October City, pursuant to Resolution No. 431 issued by the Chairman of the Media Free Zone on February 8, 2001, in accordance with the provisions of Law No. (8) of 1997, as amended by Investment Law No. 72 of 2017, and this license remains valid until February 6, 2026.
