The Northern Municipal Council approved the proposal of the representative of the Seventh District, Zeina Jassim, to establish a public park for the people of the Damistan region in Complex (1019).
Zeina Al-Jassim explained that the proposal aims to increase the green area and provide a safe outlet for families and children, in addition to developing and beautifying the area with service projects and meeting the demands of the people by providing public recreational facilities within the village.
The Technical Support Unit indicated that there is no technical objection to establishing the park on the aforementioned property, as it was originally designated as a public park and registered in the name of the Government of Bahrain within the properties of the Ministry of Municipalities.
The Council agreed to submit the recommendation to include the project in the work plans for the two years (2027-2028), emphasizing the importance of providing green facilities that serve the local community.
