His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah bin Isa Al Khalifa, Vice President of the Riffa Club, confirmed that the Kingdom of Bahrain’s obtaining the honor of hosting the 2027 Arab Games during the meeting of the Union of Arab National Olympic Committees in Riyadh reflects the prestigious position that Bahrain has reached in the Arab sports arena, and demonstrates the high confidence it enjoys, thanks to the advanced infrastructure it possesses, qualified national cadres, and great experience in organizing regional and global championships.
His Highness explained that this new achievement is a natural extension of the distinguished leadership of His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman of the General Sports Authority and Chairman of the Bahrain Olympic Committee for the sports sector with a renewed and ambitious vision, whose goal is to make the Kingdom of Bahrain a global sports center that hosts the most prominent events, in a way that translates the visions and aspirations of the wise leadership towards strengthening the Kingdom’s position in various fields.
