Moamen Zakaria, the former Al-Ahly team star, left for the Emirates, in order to attend the Egyptian Super Cup for Champions in its current edition, which it is hosting during the current period.
The Egyptian Super Cup for Champions will be held with the participation of 4 clubs, namely Al-Ahly, the league champion, Zamalek, the Egyptian Cup champion, along with Pyramids, the gold card holder, and Ceramica Cleopatra, the League Cup champion.
Moamen Zakaria headed to the Emirates on Thursday morning, in order to attend the local championship competitions, which will be held from the sixth of this November until the ninth of the same month.
The former Al-Ahly star predicted to the Cairo 24 correspondent that he will win the Egyptian Super Cup title in the current edition, saying: Al-Ahly, God willing, will be the champion.
Dates of the Egyptian Super Cup for Champions Cup matches
Al-Ahly will open the Egyptian Super Cup Champions League competitions, where it will meet its counterpart, Ceramica Cleopatra, in the semi-finals, which will be held this evening, Thursday, at Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium, the stronghold of the Emirati club Al Ain, at exactly five o’clock Cairo time, seven o’clock UAE time.
While the second match of the semi-finals of the local championship, which brings together the Zamalek teams and their counterpart Pyramids, will be held at seven-thirty in the evening today, Thursday, at Al Nahyan Stadium, the stronghold of the Emirati club Al-Wahda.
It is worth noting that Al-Ahly is the holder of the Egyptian Super Cup for Champions in its last edition, after its victory over its counterpart Zamalek in the final confrontation that was decided thanks to a penalty shootout.
