The Minister of Information pointed out that the coincidence of the Royal Order to allocate a headquarters for the Bahraini Journalists Association, with His Majesty the King’s approval of the Press and Electronic Media Law, and the Association’s celebration of the silver jubilee of its founding, constitutes a milestone in the process of national journalistic work, and reflects His Majesty’s interest in strengthening the status of the Bahraini press and enabling it to perform its mission efficiently in light of an advanced legal environment that keeps pace with the requirements of the times and preserves the constants of society.
The Minister of Information explained that His Majesty the King, may God protect and preserve him, in welcoming the Bahraini Journalists Association, reflects His Majesty’s keenness to communicate directly with the media and journalistic community, listen to their aspirations, and strengthen their partnership in building the media future of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The Minister of Information affirmed that His Majesty the King’s praise of the national role of the Bahraini press is a badge of honor and pride for all journalists and media professionals, and a sublime message of appreciation that reflects the royal confidence in the competence of national cadres and their ability to perform their media mission professionally and competently, and constitutes a renewed incentive to continue working and giving, and adhering to the principles and ethics of the profession.
