His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the UAE, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chief of the Presidential Office, raised the UAE flag on the flagpole of the Founding Zayed Monument in Abu Dhabi, on the occasion of Flag Day, which falls on the third of November every year. His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan stressed that Flag Day is a national occasion that expresses the unity of the people of the Emirates and their cohesion behind the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, and reflects pride in the march of the Union and the achievements made by the country in various fields. His Highness pointed out that raising the flag in the Founding Zayed Monument carries profound national connotations, as the place embodies the legacy of the founding leader, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al.
