Last Friday, the 7th of November, the Muharraq Equestrian Academy witnessed the holding of a rodeo competition sponsored by Eve Laps Laboratories, which began at three o’clock in the afternoon, with wide participation from fans and enthusiasts of this type of horse sports.
The barrel competition was held within the cow competition at the Muharraq Equestrian Academy, which witnessed the participation of 30 participants. Mansour Attiya was able to achieve first place, second place, Sayed Ahmed Al-Biladi, third place, Syed Alawi Al-Biladi, fourth place, Sayyed Adnan Dhia, fifth place, Ali Al-Toum, and sixth place, Ali Aflatoun.
The competition witnessed the presence of the Italian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Mr. Andrea Catalano, who followed part of the competitions and expressed his great admiration for the levels of competitiveness, wide participation and public attendance of this type of competitions, praising the organization and congratulating the winners of the first places.
The organizing committee was keen to allocate cash sums to the winners of the first six places, while the winners of the seventh to twelfth places received coupons provided by the laboratory sponsoring the competition.
The holding of this competition comes in support of this type of horse and equestrian sports, which enjoys distinguished practice in the Kingdom of Bahrain and a public presence due to its excitement and suspense.
