Since 2004, the Manama Dialogue continues to play a prominent role as a platform that brings together decision-makers and experts from around the world to discuss regional and international security. Choosing the Bahraini capital for this conference was not a coincidence, as its organizers wanted Manama to be a meeting point for ideas and solutions in a region experiencing ongoing political and security transformations.
This year’s edition, which was held between October 31 and November 2, 2025, focused on critical issues including political transformations in the Levant, energy security, cyber challenges, and the future of nuclear deterrence, with a clear link between security and sustainable economic development, which reflects a growing awareness of the intertwined role of politics and economics in maintaining stability.
The conference witnessed a wide attendance from various countries of the world, reflecting its importance as a platform for exchanging experiences and formulating new understandings about regional and international threats. During the opening of the conference, His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa was keen to emphasize Bahrain’s role as a platform for constructive dialogue and the promotion of regional peace and stability.
The “Manama Dialogue” remains a symbol of Bahrain’s vision as the cradle of civilizations, a country of peace, and a country of constructive dialogues. It confirms that dialogue and understanding are the most effective way to confront challenges and build a better future for the region and the world. This vision makes Manama a dynamic space where opinion and practice converge to formulate balanced security policies and a more stable future for the Middle East.
