He pointed out that the Bahraini doctor was able to consolidate his scientific and professional presence at the regional and international levels, which confirms his ability to contribute to the industry of medical excellence and build a more advanced health future.
He added that the Mohammed bin Khalifa Specialized Heart Center is continuing to fulfill its specialized mission with the support of high-level national competencies, which reflects the firm belief in the importance of developing the human element and strengthening the cardiology system through pioneering scientific and therapeutic programs that keep pace with global development and contribute to serving patients with the highest standards.
The Mohammed bin Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa Specialized Heart Center was established and began its services to provide medical care for heart patients in Bahrain as of October 1, 1992. It was managed independently from within the Military Hospital of the Bahrain Defense Force. On February 4, 2021, the center’s new building was opened in Awali, and the Heart Center received accreditation from the Australian Council for Healthcare Standards International (ACHSI) from 2013 to 2017. According to global data, the Mohammed bin Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa Specialized Heart Center is one of the most modern advanced medical centers that occupies a distinguished position on the map of medical centers specialized in cardiovascular treatment at the global level. This is through its new technologies that keep pace with the latest global developments in the field of heart treatment and surgery, in addition to the availability of artificial intelligence technology.
