“Lami’” Authority and “Kuwait Finance” sign a strategic partnership agreement

Mrs. Rawan bint Najib Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, confirmed that the national project “Lami’” has achieved continuous successes through its various versions, making it one of the most prominent pioneering national initiatives that contribute to creating a creative Bahraini generation qualified to lead various fields in the Kingdom of Bahrain and achieve its development visions.

She pointed out that “Lami’” represents one of the fruits of the vision of His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs, who charted for the project an ambitious national path based on empowering young people scientifically, cognitively and skillfully, so that they can be effective energies in the comprehensive development process.

This came during the Minister’s attendance at the signing ceremony of the partnership agreement between the Board of Directors of the “Lami’” Authority and the Kuwait Finance House – Bahrain, where the agreement was signed on behalf of the Authority by Sheikha Dawa bint Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Board of Directors, and on the part of the Kuwait Finance House, Dr. Shadi Zahran, Group CEO.

The Minister of Youth Affairs indicated that the partnership between the “Lami’” Authority and the Kuwait Finance House embodies the integration between the public and private sectors, and confirms the commitment of both sides to invest in the energies of Bahraini youth, praising the pioneering role of the Kuwait Finance House in supporting national and community programs with a sustainable impact, which contribute to the success of the Bahraini youth movement.

For her part, Sheikha Dhawa bint Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the “Lami’” Authority, explained that the Authority is proud of its achievements that have contributed to the preparation of distinguished Bahraini youth competencies, stressing its keenness to build qualitative partnerships with national institutions that support investing in youth and empowering them scientifically and professionally. She added that the partnership with Kuwait Finance House – Bahrain represents an important step to enhance training programs and support innovative ideas for Bahraini youth.

In turn, Dr. Shadi Zahran, CEO of KFH – Bahrain, expressed his pride in the partnership with the national project “Lami’”, stressing that investing in the energies of youth represents an investment in the future of the nation, noting that this partnership reflects KFH – Bahrain’s commitment to supporting national initiatives that enhance opportunities for growth and development for Bahraini youth.
