Journalist Mona Iraqi revealed that she suffers from a rare immune disease, noting that doctors in Egypt assured her that the disease has no cure, and that she will have to live on hormonal treatment for the rest of her life.
Mona Iraqi said in a video she posted on her Facebook account: The doctors in Egypt told me that you have an immune disease that has no cure, and what we will be able to do is write you a hormone treatment that you will live with for the rest of your life.
Mona Iraqi added: I spent 3 years trying everything to lose weight, until I met a German woman who had the same disease, and she told me to treat the main cause of the disease, not the symptoms.
She added: After four months, I began to receive treatment, and I traveled to India, a place that treats with a comprehensive medicine method, from the beginning of the soul, mind, and body together.

Earlier, Mona Iraqi commented on her marriage to Dr. Ayman Rashwan, where she said in a video clip on her Facebook account: Good evening, tell me congratulations. I did not know that the story could spread so widely. Ah, I got married. It is a name that honors anyone, but for many reasons we did not want to announce it, and we were very nervous when we found the news leaking with this scene.
She added: I have known Ayman for a very long time, we have chemistry. When we meet, we never stop laughing and dancing, and he was always Sanad, the only one I could tell him what to do, and he tells me what to do, because I trust him blindly.
