In a touching humanitarian scene, a blind citizen of determination met the Governor of Sohag, Major General Dr. Abdel Fattah Siraj, while he was passing through one of the streets of the city of Sohag. The citizen greeted the governor and thanked him for his previous response to his request and providing him with a job opportunity, before approaching him with a new request to appoint his brother and help him find a suitable job opportunity.

During his spontaneous meeting with the governor, the blind citizen expressed his great gratitude for the support of the executive leadership for the people of the governorate, stressing that the attention and care provided by the governor to groups with special needs reflects the spirit of humanity and concern for achieving social justice.
For his part, the Governor of Sohag listened to the citizen’s request with all interest, directing the concerned authorities, the workforce, social solidarity, and the governorate’s disability official, to study his brother’s social situation and discuss the possibility of providing him with a suitable job opportunity, in line with the laws and regulations, stressing that the governorate is sparing no effort in supporting the people of Sohag and meeting their needs according to the available capabilities.
Major General Dr. Abdel Fattah Siraj confirmed that the governorate continues to provide all forms of support to the most vulnerable groups, in implementation of the directives of the political leadership, which pays special attention to people of determination and those in difficult social circumstances.
