Lawyer Rabei Al-Khalaili, defending the student Karma, the victim in the assault incident inside Capital International School in the Fifth Settlement, said that he is preparing to file a new lawsuit against the school administration, due to what he described as gross negligence in protecting students on the school campus.

Al-Khalaili explained to Cairo 24 that the lawsuit will include a claim for large financial compensation for the physical and psychological damages inflicted on the student, after the forensic medical report proved that she suffered a permanent disability of 5% as a result of the assault on her by 3 female students, and the accused among them were referred to criminal trial.
The lawyer pointed out that the school administration failed to take any immediate measures to protect the students or contain the situation at the time of the incident, which, according to him, requires it to be held legally and civilly accountable for negligence in performing its duty towards the students.
Al-Khalaili confirmed that he will also submit a request to prevent the accused from traveling, until the end of the trial procedures.
