Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities recovered 176 plots of land after removing encroachments on them in various areas of the new cities, within the framework of continuing to remove building violations, preserving the architectural character of the new cities, and preventing encroachments on state property.
The decisions included, Removing encroachments and recovering an area of about 80 acres in New Luxor City, which consisted of illegal crops and buildings, with 6 cases of encroachment.Withdrawal and recovery of 170 plots of land (from Plot No. 1 to Plot No. 170) in the vicinity (53) of 10th of Ramadan City.
Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, stressed the continuation of the efforts of city agencies to remove building violations and encroachments in new cities and urban communities, and to implement ongoing campaigns to prevent random phenomena and preserve the civilized appearance, pointing out that there are instructions to the heads and officials of city agencies to do so, and this is their direct responsibility.
The Minister explained that these efforts come in implementation of the directives of the political leadership on the necessity of preserving the state’s lands and implementing the law decisively, stressing the continuation of field follow-up on the implementation of removal decisions in various cities, in coordination between the executive agencies and the security authorities.
