Major General Moheb Habashi, Governor of Port Said, headed to the streets immediately after the heavy rain fell, to follow up on the work of sweeping and suctioning the water pools that occurred in a number of areas and neighborhoods in the governorate, and he was accompanied by neighborhood heads, utility officials, and emergency teams.

The governor inspected the work sites in several streets, and directed the intensification of efforts and the continued deployment of equipment and vehicles until the complete withdrawal of water was completed, stressing the necessity of quickly dealing with reports received from citizens and facilitating traffic movement.
Major General Moheb Habashi stressed the importance of the field presence of all executive officials to follow up on the situation, noting that the executive bodies are working at full capacity to remove the effects of the rain and ensure that life returns to normal as quickly as possible.
Bad weather conditions
The governor also thanked neighborhood workers and emergency teams for their continued efforts despite the bad weather conditions, stressing that the governorate is continuing to implement the emergency plan to confront unstable weather waves during the coming days.
