Musician Ahmed Abu Zahra expressed his great happiness with the participation of his daughters Amira and Maryam Abu Zahra in the opening ceremony of the Grand Egyptian Museum, which witnessed the presence of prominent international figures, including the German President.

Abu Zahra said in a post on his social media account: “I am flying with happiness when you are with me and honor me in every place you go to. The most beautiful thing that has ever happened to me in my life. I am proud of you, your music, your beauty, your spirit, your seriousness, and your cleverness.”

He added that the German President, after the end of the ceremony, insisted on shaking hands with his two daughters and taking souvenir photos with them, in appreciation of their outstanding performance in the musical show, which admired the audience.
Egypt witnessed an unprecedented historical event, with the opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum in the heart of Cairo, making it the greatest cultural edifice of the twenty-first century. Amid a solemn festive atmosphere, the museum received world leaders for the first time, revealing the Pharaonic treasures of Egypt in their splendid guise.

Among the most prominent exhibits, the golden mask of King Tutankhamun appeared for the first time in front of the public in its new location, astonishing visitors with its magic and artistic splendor. King Khufu’s boat also returned to life, after careful restoration that lasted for years, to be displayed for the first time in the main exhibition halls, in a scene that combines ancient Egyptian engineering creativity with modern touches for museum display.
