In the early hours of the morning, Saturday, November 8, 2025, the governorates of Cairo and Giza witnessed a state of fluid traffic on most roads, axes, and squares, amid an intense deployment of traffic police to ensure the orderly movement of cars and the safety of citizens.

Cairo Governorate enjoyed smooth traffic, specifically on the Ring Road, the 26th of July Corridor, and the October Bridge, in addition to downtown squares such as Roxy, Ramses, and Abdel Moneim Riad. The Nile Corniche also witnessed smooth traffic, especially in the direction coming from Maadi and Helwan and heading to Al-Malek Al-Saleh.
There was also relative flexibility in Giza Governorate, with regard to car movement in 6th of October City and the surrounding areas, especially on the Central Mehwar Street, while Al-Haram Street recorded some slowdown as a result of the continued construction of subway stations at the Mariouteya Interchange, in addition to noticeable congestion in the Messaha, Al-Arish, Madkour, and Talbieh areas.
For its part, the General Traffic Department dispatched a number of traffic relief vehicles on highways and main roads to deal with any emergency, while the hotline 01221110000 continues to operate to receive reports and citizens’ distress calls around the clock.
