Engineer Adel Al-Najjar, Governor of Giza, conducted a surprise tour on foot at night through the streets of Al-Warraq and Imbaba to inspect the state of cleanliness, occupancy, and the level of services provided to citizens, as part of his ongoing field follow-up.
The governor summoned the deputy head of the Cleaning and Beautification Authority for the North Giza Sector to the site of the tour, to follow up on the observations in the field and take urgent measures to improve the level of performance. He also issued a warning to him after observing deficiencies in the state of cleanliness in some streets, stressing the necessity of quickly avoiding the observations and raising the efficiency of cleaning work.
The governor also assigned the head of the Al-Warraq district to give the cleanliness file a top priority and work to improve the general state of cleanliness within the neighborhood. During his tour, the governor was tasked with launching a major cleaning campaign to raise the efficiency of the streets and squares and improve the general appearance, while intensifying sweeping and removing waste on an ongoing basis.
During his tour, the governor directed the removal of cases of encroachment on the road and the removal of a gathering of tuk-tuk vehicles to facilitate the movement of citizens, stressing the continuation of sudden, unplanned tours in various sectors to determine the efficiency of the services provided to citizens, and to hold accountable any negligent person in performing his duties.

Private sources told Cairo 24 that the governor spotted some shortcomings on Al-Qawmia Street, which prompted him to immediately summon the deputy head of the Cleaning Authority to take the necessary measures and correct the situation immediately and warn him not to repeat the problems.
