His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, affirmed that the tourism sector represents one of the basic pillars of the national economy and a major engine for sustainable growth, due to the promising investment and development opportunities it provides, which reflect the Kingdom of Bahrain’s attractive environment and qualitative capabilities that open wide horizons for it to continue the process of progress and excellence, noting that the Kingdom is witnessing continued momentum in organizing and hosting international events. The regional tourism sector contributes to highlighting its distinguished tourism components and enhances its presence on the global tourism map, in a way that supports the goals of the comprehensive development process led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the great king of the country, may God protect and preserve him.
This came as His Highness, may God protect him, attended today the “Royal Bahrain Concours 2025” event, which is being held at the Royal Golf Club, in the presence of a number of Their Highnesses, Excellencies and Excellencies senior officials, which is the first of its kind in the region, as it displays 90 luxury and rare cars in the world, in addition to 300 cars from the most prominent car clubs in the region.
His Highness stressed that the Kingdom of Bahrain’s embrace of international events reflects its advanced capabilities and world-class infrastructure, supported by qualified national competencies capable of managing and organizing events with the highest standards of quality and professionalism, thus enhancing its position as a leading destination at the regional and global levels. His Highness pointed out that organizing and hosting international events embodies the Bahraini spirit that is open to the world, and confirms its ability to harmonize modernity and authenticity. This is evident in its hosting of the “Bahrain Royal Concours 2025” event, which reflects its bright image as a destination that embraces major events that support sustainable development paths.
His Highness explained that the organization of the “Bahrain Royal Concours 2025” reflects the position that the Kingdom of Bahrain has held in the world of motor sports, noting that the continuous successes achieved by the Kingdom in hosting the Formula One race, the Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix since 2004, and the advanced infrastructure it possesses, represented by the “Bahrain International Circuit”, contributed to consolidating its position as an integrated destination for sporting and international events specialized in the automotive sector. His Highness pointed out that this diversity in hosting events, from international races to classic car shows, enhances the Kingdom’s competitiveness in the tourism and sports sectors and supports various paths of national development.
His Highness said that every achievement carried at its core is the persistence and determination of the members of Team Bahrain, who with their sincerity embody the meaning of giving, stressing that leadership and excellence are the message of a nation that knows no limits to the ambition of its people. His Highness expressed his thanks and appreciation to all those organizing the “Bahrain Royal Concours 2025”, wishing them continued success in achieving more successes for the Kingdom of Bahrain.
It is worth noting that the Royal Bahrain Concours 2025, which is held under the slogan “Where the Gulf meets the finest cars in the world,” is the most prominent event held for the first time in the region for lovers of luxury cars, which combines classicism and innovation in the world of cars, as it displays a group of rare, unique, heritage and modern classic cars, with the participation of an elite group of car collectors and those interested in this field, in addition to a number of prominent international brands.
