Director Ahmed Al Morsi confirmed that he took on the task of directing the celebration of the Grand Egyptian Museum, and that it is a very difficult task with many details.

Ahmed Al-Morsi said during his interview with Cairo 24: We made a very big plan for the celebration of the Grand Egyptian Museum. We had many other units with other directors, so that everyone would come out with the same idea and the same taste.

Al-Morsi continued: Coordination was very difficult. Mazen Al-Mutajwal was in charge of the part of everything outside Egypt, and I was in charge of the part inside Egypt and the museum, and the job is really not easy.

Director Ahmed Al-Morsi previously commented on the widespread criticism to which he was subjected to directing the opening ceremony of the Grand Egyptian Museum, in which Al-Morsi participated by directing some of the external scenes of the ceremony. Al-Morsi said during his statements to Cairo 24: The expectations were great and many, and this, unfortunately, is not in the interest of the work because every person has a certain imagination that he would love to see and would be disappointed if he did not see it.

Opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum
