A state of revival is being witnessed in the villages and tourist resorts in the Red Sea Governorate, especially with the advent of autumn and the beginning of the winter tourist season.
High tourist occupancy rates in Hurghada and Marsa Alam hotels
Statistics indicate that tourist occupancy rates in Hurghada hotels exceed 80%, and it is expected that they will be full during next December.
The arrival schedules for Hurghada and Marsa Alam airports revealed the arrival of 213 international flights from various European airports over the course of hours today, Saturday.
These flights are scheduled to carry approximately 39,000 tourists of various nationalities, coinciding with the opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum.
Today, Saturday, Hurghada Airport is witnessing the highest daily arrival rate, as it receives 175 international flights, scheduled to carry approximately 31,000 tourists of various nationalities.
While Marsa Alam International Airport in the Red Sea Governorate receives approximately 8,000 tourists, scheduled to arrive on 38 international flights, this comes within 180 flights that the airport will receive during the current week, starting today until next Friday.
Egypt is scheduled to witness a global cultural and historical event today, Saturday, with the opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum in Giza, which is leading international newspapers today.
It is considered the largest museum dedicated to the Pharaonic civilization in the world, and contains more than 100,000 artifacts, including the complete collection of the gold pharaoh Tutankhamun.
