Engineer Iman Ahmed Abbas, head of the Central District in Alexandria, launched a massive campaign to remove occupancy and barriers, with the participation of the Road Works Administration.

The campaign headed to the streets of: Sporting, Port Said, Omar Lotfi Al-Rusafa, and Abdel Qader Al-Gharyani, and resulted in the lifting of all street vendor occupancies, café encroachments, and the reservation of 65 various occupancies.
In a related context, over the course of two days, the Cleaning Department in the Wasat neighborhood removed 65 tons of rubble waste from the Mahmoudiyah axis next to the Corona Company, in addition to removing 500 kg of tree trimming waste from Al-Batalasa Street that obstructs passers-by, using the administration’s equipment and workers.
This comes within the framework of providing a clean, healthy environment for citizens and increasing the efficiency of cleaning the neighborhood’s streets
The Presidency of the Central District calls on citizens to abide by the laws regulating occupancy, to abide by the boundaries and not to encroach on the right of way, in order to preserve the civilized appearance and achieve traffic flow, while emphasizing the continued work of the neighborhoods with all their capabilities in serving the citizen.
