According to the Daily Mirror, Jessica Fleischman claimed that her colleagues launched an organized campaign to abuse her after her promotion, undermined her authority, interfered with her work and hindered her career.
Lawyer Deborah Kochan noted that Jessica Fleischman’s experience is familiar in male-dominated professions, stressing that women often face isolation and lack of support when they reach leadership positions.
Jessica Fleischman said: The prevailing masculine culture in fire departments makes change difficult, but she confirms that women are able to perform tasks with the same efficiency as men, noting the importance of changing the work environment to enhance equality and accountability.
