In line with the aspirations of the Kingdom of Bahrain to enhance its global trade presence, Export Bahrain announces the organization of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s pavilion in the eighth edition of the China International Import Expo (CIIE) for the year 2025, after the outstanding success it achieved during its previous two participations in this global event, which was held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai during the period from 5 to 10 November 2025.
This participation comes under the slogan “Authentic Roots, Global Visions,” and in line with the exhibition’s official slogan, “We Empower Each Other to Create a New Chapter,” to embody Bahrain’s position as a vital commercial center distinguished by its economic diversity and ancient culture.
The national pavilion will include various sectors, including industry, tourism, services, sustainable products and food, in addition to cultural content that reflects the authentic Bahraini identity.
This participation aims to strengthen trade ties between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the People’s Republic of China, and open new export horizons for local enterprises in international markets.
The pavilion was designed to combine sectoral presentations and interactive cultural experiences that move the visitor from discovery to interaction, in addition to organizing bilateral business meetings that highlight the Kingdom’s competitive elements and work to connect Bahraini institutions with potential buyers and investors.
On this occasion, Ms. Safaa Sharif Abdul Khaleq, CEO of Export Bahrain, said: “Bahrain Exports’ participation in the China International Import Expo is an extension of systematic work to build capabilities and consolidate the export culture in the Kingdom, as we will showcase the efficiency of existing institutions in Bahrain on an international platform, and establish solid and implementable partnerships with our counterparts in China. With this approach, we enhance economic interconnection, expand market access channels, and transform participation into a sustainable economic impact that supports the growth of the national economy in the long term.”
This attendance comes in cooperation with the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the Kingdom of Bahrain and with the support of the strategic partners Gulf Air and the Tamkeen Labor Fund, to contribute to enhancing opportunities for promoting national products and services and expanding the scope of trade relations between the two countries. The Bahrain Pavilion provides a platform to enhance interaction with visitors to the exhibition and open new opportunities for economic partnerships.
This partnership is in line with the efforts of the Labor Fund “Tamkeen” to enhance opportunities for growth and expansion of private sector institutions and their access to international markets, through participation in specialized international events.
