The National Bank of Bahrain Group recently launched its program to enhance strategic management with the support of the “Tamkeen” Labor Fund, affirming its commitment to building distinguished Bahraini leadership competencies, and continuing its ongoing focus on developing human capital. This initiative represents a pivotal investment that enhances the group’s ability to achieve long-term sustainable growth, maintain its competitive advantage, and deal flexibly and proactively with various future challenges and opportunities.
Tamkeen’s support for this training initiative comes through the Corporate Training Support Programme, which is in line with the National Bank of Bahrain’s strategic priorities for the year 2025, which are to enhance the competitiveness of the national workforce in the private sector, and support the digitization of institutions and their sustainable growth.
This program is the result of a qualitative partnership with the world-leading Emeritus Institute of Management and Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the latter of which gave participants access to its digital learning portal. The bank’s employees participated in sessions designed to enhance strategic thinking skills and speed of decision-making, within the rapidly evolving financial services landscape.
The program also included careful pre- and post-training assessments, intensive group training sessions, and continuous virtual follow-up to ensure that learning outcomes are consolidated and actually applied in daily leadership practices. After completing the program, each participant received an official certificate from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
This initiative embodies the National Bank of Bahrain Group’s continued commitment to developing national leaders with insightful vision and the ability to make decisions to be able to support the group’s strategic ambitions and contribute to strengthening its leadership within the banking sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
