Scholars reviewed the legal rulings related to bribery, stressing that Islam stressed its prohibition because of the injustice it causes, the loss of rights, and the disruption of the interests of society. They explained that bribery is considered one of the major sins that corrupt social relations.

The scholars addressed the economic and social damage resulting from the spread of bribery, pointing out that this crime leads to the deterioration of public services and hindering development, stressing that combating bribery is a religious and national duty that requires the concerted efforts of everyone to combat it by all possible means.

The Directorate confirmed that these weeks come in the context of implementing the axes of the advocacy plan, which focuses on building the Egyptian character on solid religious and national foundations, consolidating a culture of self-discipline, and achieving community awareness in the face of negative phenomena.
