A 21-year-old man shot and killed three co-workers at a landscaping supply company in San Antonio, Texas, and then died after turning the gun on himself, officials said Sunday.
According to the San Antonio Police Department, two men and a woman died in the shooting that occurred Saturday at the business on the city’s north side.
KSAT television reported that other employees fled the scene when gunfire erupted around 8 a.m.
The police rushed to the scene and secured the area, and hours later, officials found the gunman wounded by a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
He was identified by police as Jose Hernandez Gallo. While the motive for the shooting was not immediately known, Police Chief William McManus said during a press conference that the incident was not random.
Investigators continue to investigate the causes of the accident.
