Within the framework of the commitment of Aluminum Bahrain B.S.C. (Alba) continues its social responsibility, and to emphasize the pioneering role of Bahraini women in humanitarian initiatives, a group of the company’s female employees organized an environmental event at the Bahrain Technical College (Bahrain Polytechnic) on November 6, 2025.
During the event, female employees planted trees and irrigated plants inside the college campus, in addition to distributing seedlings to male and female students to enhance environmental awareness and consolidate the principles of sustainability.
This initiative comes as part of a series of community activities led by Alba’s female employees as Bahraini Women’s Day approaches next December. It also reflects the company’s commitment to plant 6,000 trees annually inside and outside its walls in support of the Kingdom’s goals of achieving zero carbon neutrality by 2060.
