The first football team of Al-Ahly Club will train this evening in the capital, Abu Dhabi. In preparation for facing Zamalek in the Egyptian Super Cup final, scheduled to be held at 7:30 pm next Sunday at Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium in the United Arab Emirates.
The Al-Ahly team delegation, headed by Khaled Murtaji, will leave the residence in Al Ain this Friday afternoon, heading to Abu Dhabi, in order to reside there, in preparation for the team’s participation in the tournament final.
The Red Team was residing in the city of Al Ain during the past few days, where it played its match against its counterpart Ceramica Cleopatra in the semi-finals of the Egyptian Super Cup at Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium, the stronghold of Al Ain Club.
Danish coach Jes Torop, the team’s technical director, confirmed during the press conference held yesterday that Al-Ahly played a strong match against Ceramica Cleopatra in the semi-finals of the tournament, and succeeded in qualifying well after controlling the course of play for most of the match, with the exception of the last minutes, which witnessed some danger from the opponent.
The technical director stressed in press statements, after the Ceramica Cleopatra match, that Al-Ahly came from Cairo with a clear goal, which is to win the title and make its fans happy, who do not stop supporting and assisting.
