A language school in Qena issued a warning statement to parents regarding the behavior of some students inside the school, stressing that the responsibility for education does not lie with the school alone.
The school administration said that the challenges it faces today go beyond the scope of academic education to include the values of respect, discipline, responsibility and morals, noting the emergence of cases of violence, indifference, poor concentration, addiction to phones, and behavioral disorder among some students, which are phenomena that cannot be treated without family support.

The school added that there are families who perform their educational role with awareness and effort, and the impact of this is clearly visible in the behavior of their children inside the school, stressing that the success of the educational process requires continuous follow-up and monitoring by parents, and constant communication with the administration and teachers.
The school stated that education is a shared responsibility, and that the school cannot be a substitute for the family, calling on all parents to actively participate in raising their children to ensure a better future for them.
In cooperation with UNICEF… new movements from education to confront violence in schools after recent incidents
Earlier, informed sources revealed to Cairo 24 that a series of workshops and training had begun to be implemented within a number of schools in cooperation between the Ministry of Education and UNICEF, as part of a comprehensive plan to confront the phenomenon of violence within schools, which has increased during the recent period among students, teachers, and parents.
According to the sources, the workshops aim to raise teachers’ and students’ awareness of positive communication methods, spread a culture of dialogue, and train educational personnel to manage school crises without violence, with a focus on psychological and social support for students.
The sources indicated that the workshop was attended by a number of the ministry’s leaders, led by Dr. Hala Abdel Salam, head of the public education sector, in addition to representatives of the Ministry of Education and representatives of UNICEF.
