Wassim Ahmed, a member of the Professionals Committee of the Egyptian Football Association, confirmed that the professional player Alvin Ayman He wants to represent the England national team instead of the Egyptian national team, after moving to Liverpool.
Wassim Ahmed said through his official account on the social networking site Facebook: Regarding the player Alvin Ayman, the Liverpool player, the player refuses to represent Egypt and wants to play for the English national team and does not wish to open channels of communication with the Egyptian side.
He continued: It is worth noting that when the player was at Wolverhampton, he was welcomed, but after his move to Liverpool, his aspirations and desires changed.
He concluded: Of course, situations in football change and the player is still young, but currently the player is out of the calculations and I do not think there will be a change in the near future, but the future remains open.
Alvin Ayman moves to Liverpool
During the month of January 2025, Liverpool FC published a statement in which it said: Alvin Ayman joined Liverpool and signed his first professional contract with the Reds, after the 17-year-old joined from Wolverhampton last summer, where he has since begun to establish himself in the under-18 team.
