The Civil Protection Forces in Qalyubia completed cooling work and completely controlled a massive fire that broke out in one of the famous malls in the Karama neighborhood in Obour City, without causing any human losses or spreading to other places, after sending 15 fire trucks to the fire site.

The beginning was when the Civil Protection Operations Room received a report stating that a huge fire had broken out inside the mall, so the security services and fire forces moved to the site of the accident, and a security cordon was imposed around the area to prevent the spread of the fire and protect citizens.
The initial inspection revealed that an electrical short circuit in one of the stores inside the mall was the reason for the outbreak of the fire.
The forces began cooling work to prevent renewed ignition, while a report was written on the incident, and the Public Prosecution took over the investigation, and decided to assign the forensic laboratory to explain the causes of the fire, determine the extent of the initial losses, and complete the investigations.
