Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalid Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Riffa Club, expressed his great pride and pride in announcing that the Kingdom of Bahrain will host the 2027 Arab Games, stressing that this new achievement is added to the record of bright successes achieved by the Bahraini sports sector under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the General Sports Authority and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee.
The President of the Riffa Club said that Bahrain’s achievement of the honor of organizing this major Arab event embodies the high status that the Kingdom has now enjoyed in regional and international sports forums, and confirms the confidence of the Arab sports family in Bahraini competencies and their ability to organize and host the largest tournaments with the highest standards.
He added that this hosting represents the fruit of the wise vision and continuous support of the wise leadership, which has given great attention to the sports sector and made it a pillar of comprehensive development in the Kingdom of Bahrain, noting that the broad sports movement led by His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa has contributed to strengthening the sports infrastructure, attracting major events, and consolidating Bahrain’s position as an ideal destination for hosting continental and international events.
