The security services were able to arrest a student for trying to evade paying traffic fees at one of the gates of the Cairo-Alexandria Desert Road, after he impersonated an officer using a fake ID card.
A student was arrested for impersonating an officer to escape paying Cairo-Alexandria Road toll fees
Investigations revealed that the accused, a student at a university, was carrying a fake police officer’s card while passing through the gate, in an attempt to evade paying the prescribed fees.
Upon reviewing the card, it was found that it was not valid, so he was arrested and the necessary report on the incident was drawn up at the Awal Sheikh Police Department, and he was taken to the Awal Zayed Police Department, where he confessed to forging the card and using it to escape paying the fees.
The accused and the seized items were seized, and a report was drawn up regarding the incident, in preparation for presenting it to the competent investigation authorities to take legal measures.
