Today, the investigation authorities in Qalyubia Governorate ordered the detention of a young man accused of killing his mother by mistakenly shooting him while he was tampering with a firearm, for a period of 4 days pending investigations.
It also ordered the appointment of a forensic doctor to perform an autopsy to determine the cause of death, and to authorize burial after the examination was completed. It also requested that eyewitnesses be heard and that the investigations be sought to investigate the circumstances and circumstances of the incident.
The Nazlet Bahtim area in Ezbet El Arab in the city of Shubra El Kheima in Qalyubia Governorate witnessed a tragic incident, where a woman named Fatima Abdullah was killed by a stray gunshot, fired by her son while he was tampering with his weapon inside the house.
The security services of the Qalyubia Security Directorate received notification of the incident, and ambulances and police immediately moved to the location of the report, and it was found that the body was found with a gunshot wound to the face.
Initial investigations indicated that the incident occurred while the son was cleaning his firearm, which resulted in a bullet being discharged, wounding his mother and killing her instantly.
The Public Prosecution came to inspect the scene of the accident and remove the body, and it was transferred to the morgue at its disposal, while the security services continue their efforts to complete the investigations and reveal the details of the incident.
