Today, Louisville Airport in the US state of Kentucky witnessed a huge fire break out after a UPS plane crashed while taking off from the runway.

British Airways said on Tuesday that one of its planes was involved in an accident in Louisville, Kentucky. The airport is home to UPS Worldport, a global hub for the delivery company’s air cargo operations and the largest parcel-handling facility in the world, according to Reuters.
The US Federal Aviation Administration revealed that the McDonnell Douglas plane that crashed was heading to Daniel K. Inouye International Airport in Honolulu, explaining that the National Transportation Safety Board will lead the investigation into the UPS plane crash.
For its part, Louisville Metro Police announced that they responded to reports of a plane crash and that injuries were reported.
