The aim of this interrogation is to find out her connection to the incident and search for the reasons that led her to communicate with the accused. The prosecution called for an examination of the accused’s phone to reveal new details about the incident, as it hopes to obtain information related to any calls and messages exchanged between him and the victim. The examination addresses the possibility of conversations related to previous disputes or arrangements that occurred before the crime occurred. This step comes as part of the expanded investigations being conducted in the case, to complete the investigations accurately.
The prosecution also ordered the assignment of forensic medicine experts to dissect the bodies of the victims, and to prepare accurate reports clarifying the causes of death, in addition to requesting supplementary investigations related to the incident and its various circumstances and circumstances. This shows the extent of the prosecution’s keenness to collect the necessary evidence to complete the investigation file. The accused stated during his interrogation that the victim lived in a rented apartment that he owned with her three children, before matters developed into disagreements that made him decide to get rid of them all.
Investigations into the incident revealed horrific details about how the crime was committed, as the accused obtained a toxic substance from the store he owned, mixed it with juice, and presented it to the victim on the 21st of this month. This led to her becoming severely ill. He claimed to be her husband, and recorded his data under a false name. After her death, he left the place, indicating his prior planning.
In another horrific step, the accused decided to get rid of the three children in the same way. He took them on a picnic and offered them poisoned juices. When one of them refused to drink the juice, he disposed of him in a stream, where his body was found while the other two breathed their last after being transferred to the hospital. These actions indicate a severe lack of humanity, and the commission of a heinous crime against an entire family.
After intensive efforts by criminal investigation teams, the accused was identified and arrested. He confessed in detail to committing the crime out of revenge.
