On Friday, the representative of the Intrepid France Movement (LFI), Sofia Chiquero, went to the 19th arrondissement police station in Paris, where four activists supporting the Palestinian cause are being held.
Her visit came after the arrests of these activists after they protested against a concert by the Israeli Philharmonic Orchestra, during which some of them lit smoke in the stands, which sparked a widespread wave of political condemnation, with the exception of the position of her party, which did not condemn the incident.

Shekiro said in a video she posted on her account on the X platform: I am here in front of the Nineteenth District Police Station to exercise my right to visit places of detention, because four activists supporting the Palestinian cause have been detained since Thursday evening.
The representative added that she met with the detainees and pointed out that there was a young woman among the detainees who would be transferred to the hospital to verify that she had not suffered a head injury, stressing that her visit aimed to follow up on the detainees’ health condition and their rights during the period of pretrial detention.
