Mohamed Barakat, the former Al-Ahly star, confirmed that Zamalek still suffers from the problem of wasting opportunities, pointing out that the white team did not take advantage of Al-Ahly’s stumble against Petrojet, and did not provide the performance that qualifies it to achieve victory against Al-Ahly Bank.

Mohamed Barakat said during his hosting of the Ya Masa Al-Anwar program with the journalist Medhat Shalaby on MBC Misr 2: Zamalek is accustomed to wasting opportunities and not taking advantage of Al-Ahly’s stumble yesterday against Petrojet, and its performance during the 90 minutes against Al-Ahly Bank does not deserve victory.
He added: We all know the crises that Zamalek is going through, and I personally hope that they will end and end, because no one who loves football would like to see Zamalek far away.
Barakat continued his speech, saying: Zamalek was not in good condition, and the National Bank was also not in good condition, and Zamalek missed the three points that could have taken it to third place, one point behind Al-Ahly, which ranked second, and two points behind Ceramica, the leader.
The former Al-Ahly star concluded his statements by stressing that the format of the league this season seems strange, adding: The league looks strange, and the teams will still lose more points.
