“Youth Affairs”: Forming “Creativity Pioneers” teams for model and specialized youth centers

Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, announced the formation of three teams under the name “Creativity Pioneers” for model and specialized youth centres, namely: Muharraq Model Youth Center, Hamad Town Model Youth Center, and the Bahrain Scientific Center to achieve sustainable development goals, stressing that this step comes as an extension of the Ministry’s vision of enhancing the presence of youth at the heart of youth work, and making them active partners in formulating programs. And policies that elevate youth centers to be vibrant and creative environments that embrace young energies and work to discover, refine and highlight talent in various fields.

The Minister stated that the idea of ​​the “Creativity Pioneers” teams is in line with the objectives of the National Strategy for Youth Empowerment (2023-2028), and with the pillars of youth work (5+1), which stress the importance of involving young people in implementing programs and shaping the future, and listening to their aspirations and ideas, in a way that contributes to building a conscious generation capable of keeping pace with changes and actively participating in achieving sustainable development in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The Minister indicated that the formation of the Innovation Pioneers teams reflects the Ministry’s firm belief that young people are the makers and foundation of opportunities, as they are the ones who launch initiatives, implement them, and supervise them with determination and determination, adding that these teams will contribute to developing the programs and services provided in the model and specialized centers by involving young people in the stages of proposal, planning, and implementation, so that they will be the tool that contributes to shaping the features of the future. With a spirit of ambition, an idea of creativity, and a high sense of national responsibility.

The Minister expressed her pride in the young people who were chosen to join the teams, stressing the Ministry’s confidence in their abilities and high competence, and their awareness of their national responsibility in presenting qualitative ideas and innovative initiatives that contribute to the development of youth centers and enhancing their role as incubators of creativity, ambition, and youth work, and preparing young people for the future.

The Muharraq Youth Empowerment Center’s Creative Pioneers team includes: Abdullah Fouad, Saleh Al-Muhaza, Yousef Younis, Salman Al-Zayani, Muhammad Al-Wazzan, and Maryam Rashid.

As for the creative pioneers team of the Hamad Town Model Youth Center, it includes: Anjoud Al Hadi, Hamed Al Balushi, Muhammad Al Kooheji, Abdullah Al Malood, and Aisha Farid.

While the team of innovation pioneers of the Bahraini Scientific Center includes: Dr. Marwan Obaid, Abdullah Al-Mubarak, Jinan Al-Saffar, Ahmed Al-Awadi, and Maryam Baslar.
